Overview

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to assemble or fabricate mechanical parts using various tools and equipment in a manufacturing setting. The position offers a $1500 sign-on bonus and is part of a company that provides innovative outdoor living products and utility infrastructure solutions across North America.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to create equipment and products.
• Utilize handheld tools such as grinders, band saws, and torches.
• Operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other welding hand tools.
• Maintain weld machines using preventative maintenance methods.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Rework and repair welded parts according to engineering specifications.
• Prioritize workflow through effective communication with management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 4 years of experience preferred.
• Basic reading skills and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and self-motivated.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
