Overview
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials, operating over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. The Welder position on the night shift involves performing welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks to support plant operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform safe and precise welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks to support plant operations.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and structural components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to complete projects and repairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures.
Requirements
- Demonstrated welding proficiency using MIG, TIG, stick, and/or oxy-fuel techniques.
- Ability to safely operate tools and equipment used in fabrication and repair.
- Skill in reading and interpreting technical documents and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Commitment to safe work practices in all tasks.

Additional Information
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
