MAC Trailer

Overview

MAC Trailer is seeking a Welder to join their team, utilizing welding knowledge and skills to work with aluminum and steel materials for the tractor trailer industry. The company is known for its quality products and invests in its workforce to create a safe and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily custom build fit/up build welding assignments according to quality and safety standards.
• Review and interpret specification documentation and drawings while adhering to verbal instructions.
• Communicate safety and quality concerns to supervisors/managers.
• Maintain a clean and efficient work area and manage material inventory.
• Use power hand tools and may operate hand crane for fitting and fabricating operations.
• Organize and restock parts and materials in the work area.
• Assist in various assignments including plumbing, mounting, assembly, and wiring.
• May be required to obtain proficiency in steel and/or aluminum MIG welding.

Requirements

• Ability to successfully complete company weld testing process.
• Ability to learn basic math and measurement functions.
• Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
• Aptitude to increase product knowledge and skill level.
• Mechanical proficiency is necessary.
• Experience or knowledge in tractor trailer building or service & repair is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or mechanical related field is preferred.

• Shift hours are Mon - Thur 7am - 5:30pm with additional overtime.
