Overview

H&K Equipment is a leading dealer of material handling equipment in Pittsburgh and the surrounding tristate area. They are looking for a skilled Welder-Fabricator to support the manufacturing and repair of industrial equipment, requiring experience in multiple welding disciplines and collaboration with mechanics and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding using MIG, TIG, and Stick processes on various materials and thicknesses
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication schematics
• Fit, assemble, and prepare structural steel components for welding
• Modify and repair existing weldments
• Fabricate tooling, fixtures, and custom components as required
• Collaborate with mechanics and engineering to complete projects efficiently and accurately
• Perform basic mechanical work as needed to install or remove weldment components on equipment

Requirements

• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
• 5+ years of welding experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with fabrication tools and shop safety
