Overview

The Vessel Welder is responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other weldable materials using appropriate welding techniques. Enerflex is a premier integrated global provider of energy infrastructure solutions, focusing on gas processing, compression, power generation, and more, with a commitment to safety and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of the Fabrication Department.
• Inspect complete welds to determine structural soundness.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure them in position for welding.
• Set up equipment and parts using arc, gas-shielded arc, or arc gas welding equipment.
• Weld metal materials to Vessel equipment using appropriate welding procedures.
• Observe and comply with all safety and project rules.
• Align with EFX visions and values.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or 1-year technical diploma/vocational certificate desired.
• Minimum of 1 - 10 years of relevant industrial experience required.
• Experience welding Vessels is required.
• Must be qualified on GMAW and FCAW processes.
• Must pass 6G pipe test.
• Must be able to gauge.
• Limited to welding flat and uphill positions.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Works under general supervision.
