Overview

Bay Area & Gasket, a TRG company, is seeking a highly skilled Stainless Steel Fabricator / Welder to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience welding stainless steel braided hoses, fittings, and flanges, with a focus on detail and adherence to strict testing standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate TIG welding equipment for stainless steel components
• Read and interpret complex blueprints and schematics
• Assist with stainless steel hose cutting and preparing prior to welding
• Weld fittings, flanges, and braid-over hoses to exact tolerances
• Perform visual inspections and assist with pressure testing to guarantee zero-leak standards
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of TIG welding experience (stainless steel focus preferred)
• Ability to pass an in-house stainless steel welding test
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Working in non-air-conditioned facilities
• High school diploma or equivalent required
