Overview

Bay Area & Gasket, a TRG company, is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Stainless Steel Hose Prepper to join our growing manufacturing team. You will be responsible for cutting, cleaning, prepping, and assembling industrial metal hoses to meet exact customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut stainless steel corrugated hoses to precise lengths using saws and measuring tools.
• Clean and prep hose ends, ensuring surfaces are free of debris and ready for welding/braiding.
• Assemble and crimp fittings, flanges, and couplings according to blueprints.
• Conduct pressure testing to ensure zero leaks and structural integrity.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all OSHA safety regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with industrial hoses (specifically stainless steel/braided).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tape measures accurately.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Working in non-air-conditioned facilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
