Overview

The Global Process Engineer - Welding and Heat Treatment role involves engineering related to manufacturing processes, influencing approaches and projects within the organization. The position requires a high level of operational judgment and has a moderate degree of autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing engineering tasks that do not require a four-year degree.
• Develop expertise in the discipline and serve as a resource for best practices and quality.
• Contribute to strategy and policy development and ensure implementation in the area of responsibility.
• Possess knowledge of best practices and integration of the area with others.
• Make decisions and solve moderately complex tasks or problems in operations, product management, manufacturing, technology, or design.
• Use technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
• Act as a resource for less experienced colleagues and lead small projects with moderate risks.
• Explain difficult or confidential information and work to build consensus.

Requirements

• Extensive experience comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and leadership qualities.
• Proven ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects.
• Documented project management skills.
