Overview
The Pouring Laborer position at Wells involves supporting production by placing finishing panels and accurately pouring and finishing concrete in molds. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and quality in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Deposit concrete into molds for production in accordance with job specifications.
- Spread, level, and screed concrete to rail height to ensure proper surface alignment.
- Apply specified finishes to the rear face of precast panels.
- Monitor concrete placement to ensure consistency, quality, and proper coverage within forms.
- Assist with general production tasks and cleanup to support safe and efficient operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Previous concrete experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to safety, reliability, good attendance, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to use basic tools and apply basic math skills, including reading a tape measure and performing basic calculations.

Additional Information
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- Capable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hours.
- Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequently.
- Ability to work safely in a production or field environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazards.
- Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather.
