Overview

Walmart is hiring General Maintenance Technicians to diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance duties for commercial equipment in support of Walmart stores. The role involves developing maintenance schedules and training Store Associates on equipment care.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality.
• Manage work orders and routine maintenance schedules by providing required documentation.

Requirements

• 3 years' experience in maintenance.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record.
• Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Vocational or Technical certification in plumbing, electrical, or related trade.
