Overview

The Maintenance Technician I at RS Technologies is responsible for ensuring the facility, equipment, and machinery are maintained safely and efficiently to maximize production uptime. This role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a culture of safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform building maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment.
• Assist in 'Error Proofing' equipment.
• Complete scheduled Preventative Maintenance tasks.
• Work with Electricians to quickly and efficiently solve problems.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Certification in at least one of the following areas: Millwright, Toolmaker, or Machine Tool Builder.
• 3-5 years' experience in a Maintenance field or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in building/environmental systems an asset.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems.
• Forklift/Lift Truck experience preferred but not required.
• Working at Heights Certificate.
• Overhead Crane Certificate preferred but not required.
