Overview

Sulzer is a leading engineering company focused on innovation, seeking a Repair Engineer I to act as a liaison among various departments and manage repair jobs in the service center while ensuring compliance with ISO requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Complete disassembly, inspection, repair, and assembly work instruction packages under supervision.
  • Analyze inspection results and create scope of supply for equipment repair.
  • Plan and generate Repair Proposals including labor hours and total cost under supervision.
  • Create and review drawings per internal procedures and ISO standards.
  • Procure materials, services, and equipment for repair jobs and expedite parts from suppliers.
  • Prepare and coordinate shipping tasks for repairs or parts to meet customer commitments.
  • Communicate regularly with all departments to ensure coordination activities are on track.
  • Perform all work in compliance with ISO and OSHAS requirements.
  • Support company-wide LEAN and EHS Management System initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Discipline (Engineering preferred) or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a closely related job/industry preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products required; SAP knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to proactively organize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Basic understanding of ISO, QMS, ESH, and ASME required.
  • Preferred knowledge of API standards, Welding properties and procedures, and Pump failure analysis.
