Overview

We are looking for a reliable, skilled maintenance worker to perform essential upkeep tasks throughout our facility. The ideal candidate will have significant work experience and solid technical knowledge, with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  • Inspects the building, grounds, and equipment.
  • Handles necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Installs equipment and appliances.
  • Follows local and state building codes.
  • Complies with all company safety regulations.
  • Keeps a maintenance log and writes shift reports.
  • Reports any issues to the maintenance manager or clients.
  • Responds to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion.
  • Loads and unloads equipment and tools into work vehicles if needed.
  • Follows written and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager or clients.
  • Collaborates with the maintenance team and contractors as needed.
  • Reads and follows manuals, blueprints, and other written instructions.
  • Uses equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools.
  • Repairs leaky pipes, addresses dripping faucets, unclogs drains, and seals damaged pipelines.
  • Replaces faulty wiring, installs new light fixtures, and troubleshoots electrical issues.
  • Services air conditioning and heating systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Repairs or replaces furniture, cabinets, doors, and other wooden structures.
  • Paints and repairs drywall.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance worker or similar position, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Basic working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Experience working with tools, including hand and electrical tools.
  • Successful completion of on-site apprenticeship training required.
  • Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • General passion for creative problem-solving.
