Responsibilities
- Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Inspect machines for wear and defects, replace defective parts, and make mechanical/electrical adjustments.
- Troubleshoot and perform emergency repairs.
- Update, modify, and/or change equipment as assigned by upper management.
- Maintain detailed Preventative Maintenance records.
- Follow proper procedure for replacement parts removed from inventory.
- Perform general repair around the plant as needed.
- Explain proper use and operation of maintenance equipment to workers.
- Work from blueprints and schematics and use precision measuring equipment.
- Collaborate with service technicians to install and maintain automated equipment.
- Complete work orders and enter labor time in a timely manner.
- Use proper Lock Out Tag Out and Try Out procedures.
- Perform process equipment Preventive Maintenance.
- Cut and weld using oxygen and acetylene, and operate stick and MIG welding machines.
- Train new and existing employees on maintenance equipment processes.
- Learn operational functions of equipment to troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain 5S and cleanliness of work area and equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of industrial mechanic experience.
- Understanding of Arc Flash Safety and its theory.
- Mechanical and electrical repair skills.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents related to process operations.
- Basic tool knowledge and usage based on job classification.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use a CMMS system.

- Pay: $36.31 per hour
