Overview

Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is seeking an Assembler A for the 2nd shift at their Los Angeles site. This role involves assembling mechanical assemblies and subassemblies for military parts, requiring proficiency with hand tools and the ability to interpret technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and top assemblies.
• Perform lock wire/safety wire and nameplate tasks.
• Identify and implement best practices proactively.
• Utilize hand tools such as pliers, wrenches, and soldering irons.
• Interpret blueprints and verbal/written instructions proficiently.
• Prepare materials including lapping surfaces with proper techniques.
• Conduct visual inspections and handle defective items as per procedures.
• Ensure adherence to operational procedures and tooling calibration.
• Collaborate with others to complete assemblies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned and may be reassigned to cover workload.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• 2 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, or military environment.
• Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Los Angeles, CA, unless exempt.
• Must be a U.S. person to access export-controlled information.

Additional Information

• 2nd shift hours are between 1:45pm - 10:15pm.
• Hourly rate is $27.95 plus a $2 shift differential.
