Overview

Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is seeking an Assembler A for the 2nd shift at their Los Angeles location. This role involves assembling mechanical assemblies for military parts and requires a high school diploma and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and top assemblies.
• Perform lock wire/safety wire and nameplate tasks.
• Identify best practices proactively.
• Utilize hand tools such as pliers, wrenches, and soldering irons.
• Interpret blueprints and follow verbal or written instructions.
• Prepare materials including lapping of surfaces.
• Perform visual inspections and handle defective items.
• Adhere to operational procedures and ensure tooling calibration.
• Collaborate with others to complete assemblies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• 2 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, or military environment.
• Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Los Angeles, CA, unless active duty military.
• Must be a U.S. person for access to export-controlled information.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Understanding of blueprints and computer proficiency.
• Attention to detail and willingness to perform repetitive tasks.

Additional Information

• Position is on-site at the Los Angeles location.
• Second shift hours are between 1:45pm - 10:15pm.
