Job Description

Overview

We are a small, fast-moving team building next-generation gas turbine engines to power the future of aerospace, defense, and energy. This is a rare chance to create genuinely new technology and to watch it go from a sketch on your screen to hardware coming off the line and into service.

Responsibilities

  • Execute engine and sub-assembly builds to engineering drawings, work instructions, and build travelers.
  • Perform precision assembly operations including torquing, safety-wiring, thread insert installation, and component fitting.
  • Support test stand setup, engine integration, and hardware preparation for test campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate as-built documentation, redlines, and non-conformance records.
  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and FOD-controlled at all times.
  • Flag discrepancies, fit issues, or damage early and work with engineering to resolve them.
  • Support kitting, incoming inspection, and part readiness to keep builds moving.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in aerospace manufacturing, precision assembly, or related hardware production.
  • Proficient in reading and building to engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Skilled in precision assembly fundamentals: torque practices, thread inserts, safety-wiring, and use of precision measuring tools.
  • Experience with turbine engines, gas turbines, or propulsion hardware a plus.
  • A&P license a plus.
  • Self-directed, quality-conscious, and comfortable in a fast-moving shop environment.
  • Low ego, high ownership, and a genuine interest in building things that fly.
