Overview

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Cylinder Processor in Signal Hill, CA, responsible for processing medical and industrial gas cylinders according to established guidelines. The role involves conducting inspections, filling cylinders, and maintaining quality control documentation.

Responsibilities

• Process medical and industrial gas cylinders using established plant guidelines and procedures.
• Conduct cylinder inspections to determine need for retesting or repairs through visual, physical, and odor tests before filling.
• Check for cylinder quantities, styles and product, and fill any necessary product.
• Load and unload product from weekly shuttle truck.
• Operate and maintain cylinder scales and associated equipment.
• Prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork for shipment.
• Enter quantities, styles and products filled into the computer to justify stock inventory.
• Complete and maintain quality control documentation as per company and Governmental procedures.
• Operate a forklift truck and other plant vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school degree / GED.
• More than one year (1+) experience in plant or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical background is desired.
• Good leadership, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.
