Overview

PSG® is a global expert in pump, metering, and dispensing solutions, focused on the safe and efficient transfer of critical fluids. The Industrial Pump Assembler will build pumps according to specifications and ensure effective installation and application of Cryogenic pumps.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all router steps on the work order required to complete a pump build.
  • Follow standard work in the production cell to conform to product design specifications.
  • Perform TPM on department tools and equipment.
  • Perform Hydro-test on required work order and record values on inspection sheet.
  • Complete Standard Work and 5S Checklist Daily.
  • Complete priorities set forth by manager for the day.
  • Comply with the Company’s policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety and continual improvement of OH&S performance.
  • Practice lean manufacturing and continuous improvement in daily work.
  • Participate actively in lean activities, including 5S and continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Work overtime as required.
  • Perform all other duties assigned.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent GED.
  • Manufacturing assembly experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience using hand inspection tools such as dial indicators, micrometers, calipers, etc.
  • Experience using air and hand tools.
  • Forklift driving experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing work scope.
  • Ability to read and conform to company standards and building requirements.
  • Ability to work in a standing environment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend manufacturing instructions and interpret basic blueprint requirements.
  • Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours.
