The Can Line Mechanic is responsible for performing advanced mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing on high-speed canning line equipment, contributing to our mission to transform health and happiness through potent, living foods.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing on high-speed canning line equipment.
• Execute equipment setups, changeovers, and precision adjustments to ensure seamer integrity and fill accuracy.
• Complete preventive and corrective maintenance according to OEM and plant standards.
• Diagnose root causes of equipment failures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document work orders and maintenance activities within the CMMS.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, and Controls teams.
• Assist with equipment rebuilds, overhauls, installations, and can line startups.
• Adhere to safety standards, GMP requirements, and food manufacturing compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing maintenance, preferably within food or beverage.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Double-seam certification or formal seamer training.
• Experience supporting can line startups and commissioning activities.
• Working knowledge of PLC and VFD.
• Welding and machinery experience.

• Work Hours: Monday thru Friday, Business Hours, Overtime as needed.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
