Job Description
Overview
Academy Bus is seeking a full-time Diesel Mechanic for their Secaucus, NJ location, focusing on the repair and maintenance of modern tour buses.
Responsibilities
- Repair, troubleshoot, and diagnose modern tour buses.
- Perform reconditioning, preventative, and routine maintenance.
- Conduct general lubrication functions such as oil changes and fluid replacements.
- Inspect, install, disassemble, and clean components under supervision.
- Document warranty and repair work.
- Assist A and B Level Mechanics with skilled work.
Requirements
- 1-4 years of hands-on experience, diesel engine maintenance preferred.
- Minimum personal tool value of $2000.
- Proven ability to use hand tools, power tools, hydraulic jacks, and testing instruments.
- Valid driver's license.
- Basic computer skills.
