Overview
Join Worldwide Flight Services as a Facilities Maintenance Technician, where you will support the safe and reliable operation of cargo facilities. This hands-on role involves performing preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and general handyman services in a dynamic airport environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain superior customer service and safe working practices at all times.
- Execute minor building repairs including basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and lighting maintenance.
- Respond to corrective and emergency work orders, performing in-house repairs within qualification limits.
- Communicate with various parties on the work performed and present status of specialty systems.
- Assist senior technicians with troubleshooting, cleaning, repair, replacement, testing, and reassembly of facility equipment.
- React to call outs from the Control Room Operator or manager executing service calls.
- Perform preventative maintenance including inspection, adjustment, cleaning, and preparing follow-up work orders.
Requirements
- HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule for a 24/7 operation including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Background check and drug screen required.
- Must be able to attain and sustain an Airport I.D. Badge.
- Must have at least 2+ years experience in a technical maintenance role.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
