Overview
Epiroc is a global productivity partner for mining and construction customers, focusing on innovative and safe equipment. The Tear-Down Disassembler will perform disassembly operations on drilling rigs and equipment while adhering to safety guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble/remove mechanical and hydraulic components and systems for production.
- Transport disassembled components to the next step in the production process.
- Rig and lift components using a crane.
- Address quality defects as per the production process.
- Move rigs/towers following appropriate procedures.
- Load drill rigs and components in preparation for shipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the assembly area and perform 5S activities.
- Detect and report defective materials and unusual conditions to the supervisor.
- Follow prescribed safety regulations and guidelines.
- Identify and report safety risks.
- Maintain work-related records and reports.
- Perform other duties as required, including assembly in other production areas.
- Train new hires.
- Develop processes.
- Engage in continuous improvement.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of assembly experience required.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing preferred.
- Knowledge of safe rigging and crane operation.
- Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components/systems.
- Basic knowledge of troubleshooting.
- Basic computer skills including MS Office and ERP Systems.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Required to read, write, and comprehend English.
- Able to work individually and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated and safety-minded.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Additional Information
- Work Type: Onsite
- Shift Timings: Monday- Friday 7:00am- 3:30pm. Voluntary overtime is available.
- Regular exposure to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles.
- Employee may be required to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds frequently, and occasionally over 100 pounds.
