Imperial Transit is hiring an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Wilmington, Delaware. The ideal candidate is dependable, takes pride in their work, and has experience maintaining diesel trucks and trailers, with required welding experience.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel trucks and trailers
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Complete welding and fabrication repairs as needed
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and air brake systems
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Requirements
- Experience as a diesel mechanic
- Must know how to weld
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
