Overview

As an Installation Specialist (Service Tech II) within the Fluid Solutions division at United Rentals, you’ll perform various applications of bypass installations, teardowns, and minor repairs of HDPE pipe while providing exceptional customer service. This role offers the opportunity to work with a leading equipment rental provider and advance towards higher-level tech roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation / teardown documentation or DJE's
• Fabricate and assemble polyethylene pipe (HDPE) to create customized structures as required per job site
• Travel to customer sites
• Operate equipment in various construction environments
• Demonstrate bypass startups for customers
• Regularly attend safety meetings and trainings
• Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in the construction industry
• HDPE pipe fusion experience preferred but not necessary; training will be provided
• Basic understanding of pumps of different sizes, capacities, and manufacturers is beneficial but not required
• 80-95% travel required, with the ability to be away from home for extended periods
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs. frequently
