Overview

LVT is a leader in intelligent site technology, focusing on AI-driven solutions for safety and operations. As a T1 Welder, you will be responsible for precision welding in a fast-paced production environment, ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Weld components to specification using MIG and TIG aluminum techniques.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and complex instructions.
• Operate grinders, torches, and plasma cutters to finish parts.
• Prep materials using a horizontal bandsaw and drill press.
• Move materials safely and efficiently across the production floor.
• Input production data accurately into the order system.
• Inspect your own work and correct quality issues.
• Communicate proactively with your team lead.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with MIG and TIG aluminum welding.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and complex instructions.
• Comfortable operating a horizontal bandsaw, drill press, torch, and plasma cutter.
• Quality-driven with a focus on lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 70 lbs. repeatedly.
• Basic math skills for working with fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
