Overview

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Orangeburg, NY. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing mechanical equipment and systems while ensuring safety and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, modify, and maintain manufacturing mechanical equipment and systems.
• Coordinate repair, modification, and preventive maintenance operations as scheduled.
• Support and participate in current and new safety initiatives and policies.
• Oversee and/or perform new equipment installations.
• Utilize hand and portable power tools while following safe working practices.
• Ensure operations technicians understand and follow safe working practices.
• Provide advice to management regarding equipment life and usage.
• Coordinate and oversee the movement of furniture, materials, and equipment as required.
• Ensure all equipment documentation is complete and properly processed.
• Maintain and update control documents and perform preventive maintenance on equipment and plant systems.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Three to five years of Industrial Maintenance experience or similar mechanical experience.
• Experience reading and understanding electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
• Basic computer skills in EAM and Microsoft Outlook are necessary.
• Flexible schedule to support manufacturing needs.
