Job Description
Overview
Chromalloy is a global engineering and solutions company that provides aftermarket parts, repairs, and solutions to extend the life of aircraft engines and gas turbines. They are currently seeking Production Workers for 2nd Shift in New York, where employees are encouraged to be problem-solvers in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Use hand, power, and machine tools for preparation, cleaning, and processing of molds and machinery.
- Crosstrain on operations within multiple areas.
- Maintain regular attendance as an essential job function.
- Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE) and participate in safety training.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Fluency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
- Mechanical background preferred.
- Ability to use hand tools and gauges, with previous experience preferred.
Benefits
Additional Information
- Hourly position with Local 475.
- Rate of pay is $21.56/hr with a 10% differential for 2nd shift.
- 2nd shift hours are Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 11:00pm.
- Must be able to train on 1st shift Monday through Friday from 7am to 3pm.
- Exposure to a typical manufacturing environment with loud noise, fumes, and moving equipment.
