Overview
At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems, the Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will play a crucial role in driving innovation and maintaining high standards of business ethics in a critical industrial environment. Responsibilities
- Install and remove equipment as needed.
- Operate forklifts, rigging, and cranes as required.
- Work from blueprints, sketches, and oral instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
- Maintain proficiency with computer and automated controls.
- Operate material handling and rigging equipment.
Requirements
- Skilled trade appropriate apprenticeship papers, journeyman's card, trade school diploma or contractor license is required.
- Five or more years of skilled trade work experience is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Candidate must supply hand tools of the trade.
- Must be able to lift, bend, and perform normal activities of a physically challenging position.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense secret security clearance.
- Must be a US citizen to obtain a security clearance.
- Must have a primary or secondary trade qualification, one of which must be electrician, pipe fitter, or HVAC.
