Overview

An Aerospace client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join their growing team in Roswell, GA. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an innovative aerospace organization helping build a brand-new jet engine manufacturing facility that supports next-generation military UAV programs.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, install, test, and repair jet engine components and systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on jet engine equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot engine system issues.
  • Read, interpret, and follow technical manuals, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Collaborate with engineers to improve testing and assembly processes.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and industry standards.
  • Operate and maintain specialized tools and equipment.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Aerospace Technology, Aviation Maintenance, or a related field OR 3+ years of automotive assembly/manufacturing experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Recent aerospace or automotive manufacturing/assembly experience (required).
  • Strong understanding of aerospace or mechanical systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Additional Information

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and work on your feet for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may be loud and require personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Due to the nature of the client business as a defense contractor, this position is restricted to U.S. Citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents (Green Card Holders).
