Overview

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Manufacturing Estimator to join our team in Tyrone, GA. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building accurate, competitive quotes across machining, fabrication, stamping, and welding projects while collaborating with engineering, production, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate cost estimates for machining, fabrication, stamping, and welding projects.
• Review engineering drawings, models, and specifications to determine materials, labor, and processes.
• Define manufacturing methods, routing steps, setup/run times, and tooling requirements.
• Prepare detailed quotes including materials, outside services, and lead times.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and purchasing to validate costs.
• Communicate with customers to clarify project requirements and timelines.
• Maintain estimating templates, quote logs, and cost data for consistency.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in estimating or manufacturing engineering.
• Background in metal stamping, machining, fabrication, or welding.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and cost drivers.
