Overview

Modular Mission Critical™ is the manufacturing campus for M.C. Dean’s complex, modular product line for datacenters and critical infrastructure. The Fabrication Welding Technician is responsible for various welding duties, including performing multiple welding processes on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, ensuring safety, and completing work orders in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Repairs metal surfaces for safe and efficient use.
• Installs various items to complete projects safely and within time frames.
• Maintains shop, equipment, tools, and vehicle for availability and safety.
• Coordinates with administration and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
• Requests equipment and supplies to maintain inventory.
• Assists other trades personnel as required.
• Responds to emergency situations to resolve safety concerns.
• Transports various items including tools and equipment.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in welding fabrication and design.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• AWS Certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with MIG welding, flux-cored welding, fabrication, and blueprints.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fabrication shop environment with exposure to loud noises and changing temperatures.
• Ability to work in areas that may be under construction.
• Must adhere to safety practices and wear required safety gear.
