Overview

We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder for container fabrication in Wheatland, PA. This full-time position emphasizes high-quality welds and craftsmanship in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Run .045" and .052" bare wire MIG on container fabrication, completely welding up units after tacking.
• Weld side posts, stitches, end caps, corner wraps, and double-pass hinge welds.
• Weld in every position — flat, vertical, overhead.
• Grind welds and end caps to a clean finish.
• Read production schedules and hit a 1-hour finish-weld target per standard container.
• Operate an overhead crane and work from a ladder in and out of containers.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of MIG welding experience, ideally in fabrication or heavy steel work.
• Ability to set up and dial in your own MIG welder rather than working off someone else's settings.
• Comfort welding in multiple positions, including overhead and confined spaces.
• Working knowledge of plate/gauge thickness.
• Tape measure proficiency for layout.
• Physical ability to lift/carry up to 60 lbs, climb ladders, and work in a constant state of alertness.
• Ability to pass a hands-on welding test.
• A team mindset for working in a 2–3 person crew.
