Overview

At Lexicon, we're seeking a skilled Welder to join our team and be a part of our continued success. This role presents an exciting opportunity for growth and development with competitive pay and various shift options.

Responsibilities

• Receive and understand welding symbols and select proper welding material needed to finish for fitting, painting, and shipping.
• Locate pieces approved by Quality Control for welding and gather equipment necessary to complete the job.
• Clean welded pieces for the next phase of processing.
• Adhere to all company safety and QA/QC programs and OSHA regulations.
• Work overtime and maintain regular, punctual attendance.
• Perform non-essential functions as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ welding experience required.
• Must be able to read and comprehend welding symbols and instructions.
• Must be able to read and understand structural drawings.
• Must be able to pass a tape measure test.
• Must have ability to pass an unlimited thickness groove plate test in the horizontal or vertical and overhead positions using FCAW.
• Must be able to carbon arc gouge the back side of butt joints to sound metal.
