Overview

Coastline Power Solutions is seeking a dependable Aluminum Welder Fabricator I to work in a manufacturing setting in Deland, FL. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and possess exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture projects to engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Weld or join metal and other materials by applying appropriate techniques.
• Follow engineering plans, drawings, and instructions.
• Operate tools, machinery, and welding equipment.
• Inspect and test welds.
• Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations, and maintain a safe and clean work area and tools.
• Perform various other duties as required, directed, or assigned.

Requirements

• 1+ year minimum aluminum welding experience in a similar field.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• May be required to pass employer performance tests or standard tests to meet certification standards.
• Must pass a drug test.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading, math, and writing skills.
• Attention to detail and highly motivated.
• Ability to communicate and work well with others.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
• Ability to work overtime on occasion.
• Possess appropriate tools to perform job duties.
