Overview
We’re looking for a dependable Fabricator to perform welding repairs, fabricate equipment components, and support the development of new tooling and shop solutions. This role supports maintenance and fabrication operations by producing high-quality welds, maintaining safety standards, and assisting with equipment improvements across the shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding repairs on industrial equipment and components using MIG, TIG, stick welding, and other processes.
- Fabricate metal parts, tools, and structural components from blueprints, sketches, or shop instructions.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specifications to ensure finished work meets requirements.
- Operate welding and cutting equipment safely and efficiently, including MIG welders, TIG welders, and plasma cutters.
- Assist with tooling and equipment design improvements to support shop innovation.
- Operate additional shop equipment as required, including CNC water jet systems and metal saws.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following safety procedures and using required PPE.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; technical school training in welding or fabrication preferred.
- Experience with welding and fabrication processes such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with CNC equipment, plasma tables, water jet systems, or fabrication shop tools is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fabrication environment that includes standing for extended periods and lifting or moving materials up to 50 lbs.
