Zenith Tech Inc., a part of the Walbec Group, is seeking a Welder/Fabricator for their fabrication shop in Waukesha, WI. The company focuses on road, highway, and bridge construction, emphasizing safety and efficiency, and is recognized as a leader in the heavy and highway construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Weld and assemble metal components on heavy equipment projects.
• Perform general labor duties as needed.
• Access areas to be welded by climbing ladders if necessary.
• Use disc grinder to smooth out, weld, or grind parts prior to welding.
• Operate manual and automated welding equipment.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Ability to work in variable weather conditions and in dirty and dusty environments.
• Some welding experience on heavy equipment.
• Certified G1 or 1.5 preferred, or ability to obtain certifications within 6 months.

• Work hours are Monday-Friday 6am-3pm, with possible overtime and some Saturdays.
