Overview

Trident Consulting is seeking a Gas Turbine Mechanic for a client in Houston, TX. This role involves working with gas turbine rotating equipment and requires strong mechanical skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, disassembly, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of gas turbine rotating equipment.
• Ensure compliance with quality and HSE standards.
• Interpret complex mechanical drawings.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical experience, preferably in automotive, industrial maintenance, or shop environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in assembly, disassembly, repair, and inspection.
• Experience performing visual inspections and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
• Hands-on experience with GE10, PGT10, PGT25, Frame 3, or Frame 5 gas turbines.
• Experience with mechanical assembly/disassembly and rotating equipment.
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
• Knowledge of HSE policies and manufacturing safety standards.
• Experience using hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools.
