Overview

Amazon Prime Air is seeking a Repair Technician who combines technical skills with a passion for maintaining machinery and aircraft. This role involves drone maintenance and routine service to ensure safe operating conditions and compliance with FAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities
• Show understanding of fleet performance metrics
• Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations
• Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals

Requirements

• Experience in mechanical and electrical integration or assembly
• Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
• Travel up to 25% of the time
• Experience with common business applications and tools (i.e. Microsoft Office, ie. Word, Excel, etc.)
• Work a flexible work schedule including evenings, overnights, and weekends
• Can work in an environment where the noise level varies and is subject to variable temperatures and weather conditions
• Can show a demonstrated record of good attendance and the ability to consistently arrive on time for scheduled shifts
