Overview

Aggreko is seeking a Technician 1 Power in Pearland, TX, to perform maintenance and repairs on power generation equipment, ensuring reliable service for various customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and occasionally on customer locations and handle the repairs.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed, with potential for travel.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED.
• 4+ years of experience working on power generators, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.
• May be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card.

Additional Information

• Availability to work the assigned schedule and be on standby for work outside of regularly scheduled shifts.
• Must be able to stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to walk over uneven terrain with functional balance.
• Must have good finger dexterity to manipulate small items.
