Overview

Clarke Vehicare is seeking a Fleet Mechanic / Truck Technician to join their team, offering a later start time of 10:00am and a competitive pay rate of up to $38 per hour based on experience. This role involves repairing and maintaining light to medium-duty vehicles in a dedicated shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Use Smartphone, Laptop, and Tablet Technology to Record all Repairs
• Repair and Maintain Light & Medium Duty Customer Vehicles in a Dedicated Shop
• Handle some Heavier Class 8-9 vehicles
• Utilize MHE experience (electric) if applicable
• Provide own standard tech tools while major shop tools and diagnostic equipment are provided
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with medium-duty trucks
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills in engines, brakes, electrical, and suspension systems
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills for diagnostics and work order entry
• Must have own tools
• Valid Driver's License
• Current CDL or ability to acquire CDL (class B or higher)
• ASE certifications are a plus
