Overview

Marotta Controls is a leading company in the Aerospace & Defense industry, known for its innovation and quality. They are seeking an Engineering Technician II to support the fabrication and testing of Special and Automated Test Equipment for their Power and Control Actuation Systems business unit.

Responsibilities

• Assembly and testing of test equipment, breakout boxes, load boxes, and harnesses/cabling.
• Circuit card assembly, repair, rework and troubleshooting.
• Operate instruments such as oscilloscopes, DMM’s, power supplies, data recorders.
• Able to use and work with schematic diagrams and engineering drawings.
• Component selection and acquisition.
• Support a fast-paced multi-project lab environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (Aerospace preferred).
• Minimum Associate’s (AAS) degree in electronics technology, or technical certification in a related field (preferred).
• Experience in electronic laboratory work in a design and development engineering environment.
• Excellent soldering skills.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Working knowledge of staking and coating materials and their application.
• Working knowledge of ESD principles and safety.
• Software: Visio, MS Office.
