Overview
CERTEX USA is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Wire Rope Assembler to join our team in Phoenix, responsible for fabricating, inspecting, and assembling various rope products to meet high-quality standards and customer specifications. The role involves working with products utilized in industries like construction, energy, mining, and deep-sea recovery.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret drawings and blueprints.
- Understand codes and specifications as outlined on order tickets.
- Calculate wire rope cut lengths and fitting requirements.
- Identify appropriate equipment for producing wire or synthetic rope and chain assemblies.
- Splice wire rope and fabricate chain slings.
- Operate industrial swaging machines and proof testing machines.
- Attach proper tags and labels to products.
- Maintain inventory records.
- Report defective or substandard material supplies or products.
- Handle shipping and receiving of goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety guidelines.
- Assist with deliveries when needed.
Requirements
- Familiarity with industrial tools like cutting machines and crimping tools.
- Proficient at math and reading.
- Must be able to manage time effectively.
- Must be able to accurately read a tape measure or digital micrometer.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be persistent, energetic, and reliable.
- Prior experience in the construction, equipment, or oil industry is preferred.

Additional Information
- This job operates in a warehouse environment.
- This is a full-time position with standard work hours of Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
- Minimal travel is expected for this position.
