Overview

Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, and operate CNC Lathe machine tools for precision machining.
- Calculate dimensions and tolerance using mathematics and instruments like micrometers and vernier calipers.
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
- Check output for conformance to specifications for quality assurance and maintain inventory of completed products.
- Clean and lubricate machines, tools, and equipment to maintain a safe and clean work station.
- Troubleshoot work-related problems using job knowledge and communication.
- Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and uphold the CMC Safety Culture.
- Work safely by following safety rules, regulations, and PPE requirements.
- Stay alert to unsafe conditions and report them immediately.
- Responsible for daily housekeeping duties in the immediate work area.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with exposure to temperature extremes, chemicals, dust, fumes, and loud noise.
- Basic computer skills.
- Dependability in attendance and flexibility to meet business needs.
- Must be able to learn quickly and multitask.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Some overtime will be required.
