Overview

Ryder is hiring Warehouse Maintenance Technicians in Lancaster, TX, offering a competitive hourly pay and a commitment to safety and state-of-the-art equipment. The role involves maintaining warehouse equipment and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure PM entries into software are complete and accurate.
• Utilizes the computerized maintenance management systems to keep the department organized.
• Maintain and insure spare parts inventories consistent with procedures.
• Participate in the continual development and improvement of maintenance policies.
• Ensure a clean and organized maintenance area.
• Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMP’s).
• Establish work schedules that meet the demands of operating and PM programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Actively participate in safety and Lean programs.

Requirements

• Vocational or Technical certification in related field or 3 years of relevant experience required.
• Knowledge of 480 volts and pneumatic equipment required.
• Must have working knowledge of computer-based equipment maintenance and parts inventory systems.
• Demonstrated independent problem-solving capability required.
• Ability to use PLC and HMI Programming software preferred.
• Understand 24VDC Control systems and sensors required.
• Experience with programming/troubleshooting Servo and Stepper motors required.
• Ability to troubleshoot/program Bar Code Scanners and Vision Systems required.
• Knowledge of warehouse maintenance safety procedures required.
• Knowledge of operating MHE including Forklift, Scissor Lift, Boom Lift required.
• Ability to work independently in a safe manner.

• Hourly Pay: $31.00
• Shift Pay: $1.50
• Schedule: 2nd shift Monday- Friday 2PM- 10PM
• Occasional Saturdays for Overtime
