Overview

Ameritech Facility Services is seeking an experienced technician/handyman for full-time work, focusing on building repairs primarily for retail and restaurant clients. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing various construction-related issues while offering competitive pay and growth potential.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to assist clients with building repairs.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair construction-related issues.
  • Perform minor plumbing and electrical connections.
  • Conduct roofing, concrete, stucco, fencing, asphalt, carpet, and tile repairs.
  • Use basic tools and follow installation instructions.
  • Handle projects as needed, including heavy lifting and physical tasks.
  • Maintain effective communication and a professional appearance.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of commercial construction experience, preferably in restaurants.
  • Ability to travel regionally (50-75%).
  • Clean driving record and personal transportation.
  • Must have a truck.
  • Basic tools required; specialty tools will be rented.
  • Good communication skills and basic computer skills.
  • Willingness to learn other skills.

Additional Information

  • Most work will be during the day, with some nights and weekends required.
  • The company delivers services out of state, and travel for work may be necessary.
