RTX is the world's largest aerospace and defense company, seeking a Maintenance Technician 3 for their Pratt & Whitney division in Dallas, TX. The role involves performing aircraft engine maintenance with a focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft engine maintenance on all models of Pratt & Whitney Commercial aircraft engines.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental Health and Safety requirements and quality standards.
• Assist in improving aircraft engine maintenance turnaround time through team collaboration.
• Follow appropriate maintenance manuals and technical data during maintenance tasks.
• Perform supplementary shop and housekeeping duties as required.
• Build internal and external relationships through effective communication.

Requirements

• HS diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in repair of commercial aircraft engines preferred.
• Holder of a valid Federal Aviation Administration Airframe & Powerplant license preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly motivated self-starter with creative troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent judgment, professional maturity, and social skills.

Additional Information

• This is an onsite, night shift position with typical hours of 2:00pm – 10:30pm.
• The position is based at the Dallas TX site.
