Overview
RDP Technologies is a family-oriented company that has evolved into a cutting-edge engineered process equipment supplier within the water and wastewater treatment industry. The Maintenance Technician role involves working on Control Panel wiring, shop inspections, and traveling to job sites for start-up and inspection of installed systems.
Responsibilities
- Start-up, troubleshooting, and coordination for electrical and mechanical components of a large process system.
- Field wiring experience.
- Ability to read electrical and detailed mechanical drawings.
- Supervision of contractor installed equipment.
- Confirmation of fabrication dimensions through RDP-designed drawings.
- Coordinating and testing of panels and field wiring.
- Conducting on-site start-up and performance testing.
- Communicating with installing contractors, engineers, municipalities, and RDP to resolve onsite issues.
- Leading a crew of operators.
Requirements
- Trade School, Associate or Bachelor’s Degree.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Field experience onsite at a construction site.
- Ability to read electrical drawings.
- Preferred at least 5 years of onsite experience.

Additional Information
- 8 hours/day, 5 days/week, Monday-Friday.
- 15 PTO days which includes personal, vacation, and sick days.
- Field Service Technicians can typically expect to travel two weeks a month.
