Overview

SteelcoBelimed, established in 2024 from Steelco and Belimed, leads in advanced cleaning and sterilization solutions. As a Field Service Technician, you will travel to hospital sites to complete the installation, service, and maintenance of SteelcoBelimed products while providing excellent service to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to hospital sites for installation, service, and maintenance of products.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using test instruments.
  • Measure and adjust digital and analog instrumentation using calibration equipment.
  • Install, modify, and repair SteelcoBelimed and/or 3rd party equipment.
  • Manage customer base effectively, prioritizing customer needs.
  • Demonstrate correct usage and application of equipment to customers.
  • Conduct product in-service trainings as required.
  • Complete service reports, timesheets, expense reports, and parts lists in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an organized work vehicle with necessary tools and manuals.
  • Monitor customer chemical orders, contract sales, and renewals.
  • Promote and maintain good customer relations through professionalism.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience with industrial electrical single and 3-phase wiring and controls.
  • Experience troubleshooting water and pneumatic process controls.
  • Experience using diagnostic test equipment, volt-ohm meters, and calibration equipment.
  • Ability to perform piping of copper, brass, and stainless steel.
  • Ability to read and red-line P&ID and electrical schematics.
  • Moderate technical aptitude and general computer skills.
  • Ability to lift at least fifty pounds unassisted.
  • Ability to climb over and crawl under equipment.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to maintain compliance of all credentialing requirements.

Additional Information

  • This is a remote, home-based position traveling within the Philadelphia region.
  • Training includes 90 days of on-the-job training and 3 weeks of classroom training.
