Overview
SteelcoBelimed, established in 2024 from Steelco and Belimed, leads in advanced cleaning and sterilization solutions. As a Field Service Technician, you will travel to hospital sites to complete the installation, service, and maintenance of SteelcoBelimed products while providing excellent service to customers.
Responsibilities
- Travel to hospital sites for installation, service, and maintenance of products.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using test instruments.
- Measure and adjust digital and analog instrumentation using calibration equipment.
- Install, modify, and repair SteelcoBelimed and/or 3rd party equipment.
- Manage customer base effectively, prioritizing customer needs.
- Demonstrate correct usage and application of equipment to customers.
- Conduct product in-service trainings as required.
- Complete service reports, timesheets, expense reports, and parts lists in a timely manner.
- Maintain an organized work vehicle with necessary tools and manuals.
- Monitor customer chemical orders, contract sales, and renewals.
- Promote and maintain good customer relations through professionalism.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience with industrial electrical single and 3-phase wiring and controls.
- Experience troubleshooting water and pneumatic process controls.
- Experience using diagnostic test equipment, volt-ohm meters, and calibration equipment.
- Ability to perform piping of copper, brass, and stainless steel.
- Ability to read and red-line P&ID and electrical schematics.
- Moderate technical aptitude and general computer skills.
- Ability to lift at least fifty pounds unassisted.
- Ability to climb over and crawl under equipment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to maintain compliance of all credentialing requirements.

Additional Information
- This is a remote, home-based position traveling within the Philadelphia region.
- Training includes 90 days of on-the-job training and 3 weeks of classroom training.
