Overview

Bruckner Truck & Equipment is one of the largest family-owned semi truck dealerships in the United States, operating in over 40 locations across 12 states with a team of over 1,500 members. The Service Technician Tier 1 role involves advanced technical skills and training to provide high-quality repairs and support to the service department.

Responsibilities

• Complete advanced online training in Mack & Volvo and other approved training.
• Work on off-site training prerequisites towards certification.
• Perform timely repairs with a minimum of 90% efficiency and 80% proficiency.
• Lead and train Tier 2 and Tier 3 Technicians.
• Diagnose and repair advanced electronic, lighting, and electrical systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years on-the-job training.
• Complete all Tier 2 and 3 job role requirements.
• Complete a minimum of three items from the specified certification list.
• Master Certified in at least two Mack or Volvo Pro-Path Segments.
• D.O.T. Inspection Certified.
• Certified in at least one Cummins engine platform.
• Certified in a Medium Duty (Hino, Mitsubishi, or Isuzu).
• Allison Transmission Certified.
• Have a valid Commercial Driver’s License.
• Active participation in the Safety Committee.
• Willingness to participate in the Mack Master’s/Vista Tech competition.
